What's xAPI?

xAPI (Experience API or Tin-Can) is a specification of eLearning systems that allows you to collect data on activities (online and offline) performed by users.

Compared to the SCORM™ standard, xAPI allows you to record and monitor all types of learning experiences, including micro-behaviors such as reading an article or watching a video.

In addition, xAPI allows you to expand monitoring outside the platform itself, for example, through mobile devices, wearable gadgets and simulators.

xAPI-compliant eLearning systems (such as DynDevice LMS) therefore provide a very detailed picture of how people interact with learning experiences, ensuring that they are constantly improved.
