What is an LMS (Learning Management System)?

LMS stands for Learning Management System, also called eLearning platform.

A Learning Management System (LMS) is therefore the system (for example, DynDevice LMS) that allows to deliver and manage company training in eLearning mode (i.e. with online use).

What is a Learning Management System (LMS) for?

An LMS allows you to deliver, manage and create online training courses, as well as (as in the specific case of DynDevice LMS) to offer them on the market through the eLearning platform itself or via LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability).

Through an LMS it is therefore possible to manage the distribution of online courses, user registration, tracking of activities, learning verification and issuing of certificates.

In a more complete LMS system (such as DynDevice LMS), you can also find tools for statistics analysis, e-commerce of courses, community management (chat, comments, message boards that help and facilitate learning), gamification (to add competitive mechanics to the training process), classroom training management, etc.
