Version 1.5.15 of DynDevice wCMS content management system now being released
DynDevice ECM development team is back with an important update, mainly centered around the "E-Commerce" module.
We are back with a new uodate for DynDevice wCMS. This time the DynDevice ECM development team has focused mainly on the "E-Commerce" module by ensuring that language-specific catalogues can be automatically created for every language included in the site. Other interventions have mainly involved improving response times on DynDevice wCMS-managed sites.
Here's a list of the changes introduced by this latest update:
Changes to existing modules.
"E-Commerce"module.This module has been considerably updated by adding the option to manage multi-lingual e-Commerce:
- As already mentioned, you can now manage every aspect of the module using any of the site's available languages: creating categories, sections or available products only in a specific language is no longer a problem. The new e-Commerce structure allows complete manage of product catalogues in any of the site's active languages; every window for creation / edit has been enhanced with this improvement;
- from an order list, if an order also includes on-line courses, you can now open a window to display what users have already compiled enrolment forms to those courses
"E-Commerce menù" module: The new "Advanced Cache System" feature is used to create a static copy of the menu.
"News" module: The <#? NEWS-LINK ?#> variable now shows a full link to the detailed news item even if the "destination link" field has not been compiled.
System changes:
- in "Tools" => "Site parameters" a new "Minimize html output" parameter has been added and can be set on "yes" or "no". If "yes" is chosen, the "WritePage" function will print the page's HTML code in minimized mode, resulting in marked increase in loading and browsing speed without altering the site's functionality;
- the visual editor-integrated file manager (Responsive File Manager) now divides file lists into different pages when there are more than 500, thereby improving the management of folders which contain a large number of files.
