Some regions have begun offering creative solutions: Madison Consolidated Schools, in Jefferson County (Indiana), have set up school buses with Wi-Fi routers parked in various parts of the county.

The idea was born in a region rarely influenced by a harsh climate: Coachella Valley in California. The school district of Coachella Valley is one of the poorest and the largest in the country. To bridge the digital divide between students, it has been necessary to be creative and turn the 100 school buses into mobile routers in times of need. "The increase in connectivity has produced tangible results: thanks to this solution, the rates of high school graduates have gone from 70% to over 80%".
