Update with Learning Tools Interoperability® in the SCORM ™ editor and other improvements

New version 4.1 build 000 of  DynDevice (training management system) is now available on the Mega Italia Media cloud. DynDevice is the complete training management system equipped with 6 solutions:  e-Learning platform, SCORM editor (LCMS with authoring tools),  HR management web content management and  company intranet management

The following release note lists and explains all the latest changes grouped by solution.

DynDevice (core) (vers. 4.1.000)

Filters and sorting in lists, persistent. The status of a "List" mask, and therefore: orders, columns filters, displayed / hidden columns and page numbers are now automatically saved when the window is closed (or switching to another mask). They will then be automatically resubmitted at the next reopening of the list itself.

New advanced technical documentation. For all administrators, new advanced technical documentation is available in the reserved area of ​​the website www.dyndevice.com, or in the area where it is possible to open a ticket to request assistance and which can be accessed directly via the control panel.

Responsive "File manager". Updated the version of the external component "Responsive File Manager" making several improvements to usability and speed of loading.

Improved masks for mobile use. Made several improvements to some masks, in particular of the "5. E-Commerce and website" solution regarding the use of mobile devices.

Solutions 1. Training management, 2. Course distribution and 3. Course creation (vers. 4.1.00)

Standard Learning Tools Interoperability® (LTI®). The LTI® standard allows learners to use various content available on external platforms ("Tools Provider") without having to be manually registered with the latter and always remaining within the "Course Use" page of their DynDevice platform. The "Library" menu has therefore officially made available the new "LTI Contents" tab that allows you to configure the contents in the desired LTI® format, and then insert them as "objects" within your courses, at the same level as the learningobject SCORM ™, advanced tests, etc.
The supported LTI® standard versions are 1.0 and 1.1. For the 1.1 version, DynDevice also supports the "Basic Outcomes Service" feature that allows you to obtain a score ("score") associated with the use of the content by each user.

Expired users management. The list of users to which you can extend the deadline, now exposing only active users.

Subscribed users management. The "Search in all groups" function in the "List of groups" scenario can now also be started by clicking the [Enter] button of the
keyboard and no longer just with mouse clicks. In the scenario that shows the users (or a search or a group), the fiscal code of the users themselves is now shown.

Platform options. In the Document Heading field of the "Funded Training" the variable [SOCIAL-REASON] is now available to expose the Company's corporate name.

Session management. In the "Attendance Register" HTML template the variables [PARTICIPANT-EMAIL-X], [PARTICIPANT-SOCIAL-X-X] and [PARTICIPANT-GROUP-X] are now available to expose the email, the company name and the group name of all users present at the session.

Form "Courses". The following fields are no longer mandatory in the compilation of the registration forms: "ZIP", "Region", "Location", "Telephone", "Mobile" and "Education".

Advanced modules. In the "Advanced Modules" menu, the "E-Commerce" and "E-Commerce Coupon" modules are now also displayed in the LCMS section.

Usability "Learner Scenario". The optimization of the "learner scenario" continued, bringing several improvements regarding usability. In the "LCMS Scorm Player" module the list of courses is now more understandable, graphically better organized and the courses have an image, while the course details have a new and clearly visible button that allows the first access or resumption of the course intuitively and quickly. Therefore, the "LCMS Chat" module is now more graphically up-to-date and also exposes the user profile image when the "Gamification" is available for the e-Learning platform.

Solution 4. HR management (vers. 1.5.05)

GAP export. Improved functionality of export of GAP courses / skills / skills.

Improvements to the "Medical visits" mask. A new column has been inserted to indicate the status of the employee, active "Yes" or "No". This column is by default filtered on "Yes" to allow you to see the history of the medical visits of active users, but you can disable the filter to view all visits of active and discharged users.

Read-only administrators of the "4. HR Management" solution. Added a new typology of users "Administrators groups in read-only", which can only see based on the groups and courses assigned to them to establish in a more granular way the areas and limits of access to the "4. HR Management" solution.

Upload of medical examinations. This functionality has been improved by adding a descriptive box on the outcome of the upload of medical examinations.

Solution 5. e-Commerce and website (vers. 1.8.10)

"Assistance" form. When a new message is inserted into a ticket, the previously set manager filter is no longer lost.
The same filter is not lost even when the manager is changed, the category of a ticket is changed or if a ticket is closed.

"Login" form. Optimized the text for the recovery of credentials inserted by default which presented inaccuracies.

"Comments" form. In the e-Mail that is sent to the administrator when a new comment is inserted, the link inside it now points to the page where the comment itself has been inserted.

Solution 6. Intranet (vers. 1.2.30) "Progress" module. Several improvements:
• the author of a progress can now insert, modify and delete messages even when the progress is in "Read only" mode;
• improved the visibility of the progress properties mask by increasing the size of the visual editor;
• when creating or editing a progress, you are now automatically redirected to the detail page of the progress itself.enlarged.
